Sue trained as an accountant with KPMG specialising in accounting and tax for Small Businesses. After qualifying in 1992 she spent many years in the Utilities sector gaining audit, accountancy and broad-based management experience. In 2008 she pursued a long-held ambition and qualified as a teacher. Following a successful teaching career, she returned to practise accountancy and joined Vertis Accounting in 2024.
Sue is an accredited Xero advisor for Vertis, which combines her teaching and accountancy experience for the benefit of our clients. She advises businesses on all aspects of Xero set-up, as well as delivering ongoing support for day-to-day operation.
